Buying Your New Home
Whether you are a first time buyer or you have done it all before we all know that buying a new home can be a lot of fun and excitement but can also have it’s up and downs, so lets make sure we are ready to make the move:
Get Your Financing Ready
Before you start looking and fall in love with your dream home it is so important to know how much you can afford so that you can tailor your search to your budget.                                                                                                         Get together with a Mortgage Advisor whether it be at your bank or an independent broker, they will explain how the different types of mortgage work and which one will be best for you, they will give you an estimate of closing costs and what kind of down payment you will need to find.
Most importantly get a letter to show you have been pre approved, you will need this when you are ready to make an offer.
Decide What You Are Looking For In Your New Home
Think about the area where you are looking for your New Home, what are your needs, close to work, schools, beach and decide what you need in your new home, how many bedrooms/bathrooms, do you need a yard?
Now Lets Start Looking
Once you know how much you can spend and what it is you are looking for it should be simple, right?                                                                                                       Get yourself a Real Estate Agent, someone who is familiar with the neighborhoods, and will walk you through the whole experience, letting you know what is happening and laying out a timeline so you know exactly what you need and when you need it all the way to closing and beyond.
